Is the next review an attempt to influence any mind seeking modern interpretations and in doing so valuing a certain interpretation hundreds of years old as superior to the one AAB presents without any such claim? AAB writes on the opening pages "The books I have written are sent out with no claim for their acceptance. They may, or may not, be correct, true and useful. It is for you to ascertain their truth by right practice and by the exercise of intuition. Neither I nor AAB is the least interested in having them acclaimed as inspired writings, or in having anyone speak of them (with bated breath) as being the work of one of the Masters." Further she writes " If the teaching conveyed calls forth a response from an illuminated mind of the worker of the world, and brings a flashing forth of his intuition, then let that teaching be accepted. But if otherwise. If the statements meet with eventual corroboration, or are deemed true under the test of the law of Correspondences, then that is well and good. But should this not be so, let not the student accept what is said."
Perhaps caught in their zeal, chest puffed out and brow furrowed some seemingly feel the need to defend the very fabric which holds the universe together, the infinite mind of the Divine. Does this require any defense from finite minds claiming superior understanding? Maybe some have missed this part of the book...so it seemed right to put it here ;)

This book is good to read to build a bridge between Western spirituality and Eastern spirituality. There's no greater sin than separation, and this book does the opposite. It paves love for both Jesus and Buddha, and a deeper understanding in what it means to be in the Age of Pisces and going into the Age of Aquarius.

A Great Book!

Alice Bailey was part of the Spiritual heritage Blavatsky, Besant, Rudolf Steiner.
She wrote this book 1945 on spiritual inspiration.

Interestingly she predicted several dates that coincide exactly with the Mission of korean Sun Myung Moon.

p. 69 "the time of decision", as it is called in hierarchical circles, was in the time of full moon in June 1936 and full moon in June 1945. The time of decision covered only 9 years ( a relatively short time period); and resulted in the decision that Christ should return or become visible on Earth as soon as possible, and much earlier that planned.
